Who We Are ?
The Solid Waste Association of Ghana (SWAGH) is Ghana’s National Member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), actively engaging in and advancing ISWA's initiatives and activities within the country and the Africa Sub-Region. SWAGH is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable waste management practices across Ghana and beyond. Our work is grounded in the principles of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. SWAGH exists to provide a platform where stakeholders from all sectors, including government, Civil Society Organizations, private industry, academia, individuals, and communities can come together to advance solutions that are environmentally responsible and economically viable.

SWAGH (Solid Waste Association of Ghana) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable waste management practices in Ghana. We work with stakeholders from government, private industry, academia, and communities to develop environmentally responsible and economically viable waste solutions.
You can become a member by filling out our online registration form on our website. We offer different membership categories, including individual, corporate, and institutional memberships. Members gain access to training, networking opportunities, and industry insights.
As a SWAGH member, you will:

•Participate in SWAGH-hosted conferences, workshops, and eco-events.
